mother and son duo always dreamt of having a business in Hawaii, and decided to
take the entrepreneurial
plunge by opening their first 450 square foot boutique on Saratoga Road, next to
Eggs N’ Things. The store features casual fashions, decorative handbags,
costume jewelry, and lifestyle products including candles, body care items, and
beachy home décor. Brands include Oasap, Modern Lux, Lauren Moshi, Ettika,
Two’s Company, Cupcakes & Cartwheels, and even a few local Hawaii-based
labels such as Revoir and Yireh. There are also a few handbags designed by
Sho Inaoka, and a series of original unisex T-shirts designs are slated to
arrive in the upcoming weeks.
The store resembles a tastefully
appointed walk-in closet, similar to what one may find in a beach house. White
walls are given splashes of color from the merchandise displayed on racks and shelves.
At the center of the shop, a small crystal chandelier hangs above a table
showcasing lifestyle products and jewelry.
“We always wanted to have
our own business in Hawaii. We are confident that both locals and visitors will
love our concept, our brands, and our original items which are surprisingly
affordable for Waikiki,” says Yumi Imaoka, President of Bliss Closet Hawaii.
Bliss Closet Hawaii is open seven days a week, from
9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., 365 days a year. For more information, call (808)
