Hawaiian Railway Society

Espadrilles: Forever 21

We finally got to take a ride on the Hawaiian Railway Society train, which runs on the only historic railroad on the island of Oahu.  It's a beautiful 90-minute long, round trip, narrated trip with spectacular mountain and ocean views.  Here's a little preview of our ride.

W started along the residential area of Ewa. Some of the residents waved hello from their backyards, showing their aloha spirit.  It was fun cheering and waving back to them.  e passed by one of the three Costcos we have on the island as well as our local newspaper, the Star-Advertiser, the Ko Olina Golf Course, Aulani - A Disney Resort and Spa, and Monkeypod - great food, live music, and happy hour.

It was a beautiful day for a train ride.  We all had a great time!
