Rocksbox Jewelry Review and Promo Code!

Disclosure: The jewelry pieces below were received for review purposes only.

I received my first Rocksbox and am absolutely in love!  All three pieces of jewelry are so beautiful and definitely match my style.  If you follow my sister and I, you may have noticed that I rarely wear jewelry.  I see a lot of pieces I like, but I don’t like to spend money on them because I know I won’t wear them for long.  That is why I love Rocksbox.  Rocksbox features 30+ on-trend designers including House of Harlow, Gorjana, Loren Hope, and CC Skye.  Not only do they have beautiful jewelry to choose from, but they also have a great concept.

Rocksbox is a membership-based jewelry service that allows you to borrow jewelry before you buy them.  For only $19/month, members receive a box of three designer jewelry pieces based on their style profile.  You can keep your box of jewelry and wear them for as long as you like.  When you are ready to return them, a new set of three will be sent to you.  You pay the same membership fee regardless of how often you exchange your box.  If you love a piece and want to purchase it, keep it when you return your box and you will be billed at the member’s price shown on your packaging list.

Can't wait to see what's in my next Rocksbox!

Visit www.rocksbox.com and use promo code hiteastylexoxo to get your
first month of Rocksbox FREE! This offer expires on 3/17/15.

The New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel

If you love the ocean, the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel’s beachfront property is a great place to stay while visiting or having a staycation on Oahu!  It's on the quiet end of Kalakaua Avenue, which is nice if you want to be away from the crowds of Waikiki.

Most rooms have gorgeous ocean, Diamond Head, or Waikiki views and all rooms include complimentary Wi-Fi and in-room coffee.  We stayed in the Ocean Waikiki Superior room.  The view of the ocean, Waikiki skyline, and city lights at night were all so beautiful!  I was surprised to see that they had L'Occitane products, one of my favorites!

I love that the hotel is right along the beach.  They have a walkway that leads right to the beach and they provide beach chairs, towels, and mats at no charge!

The service was great and everyone we came in contact with was very pleasant.

Miyako Japanese Restaurant

We had a lovely dinner at the Miyako Japanese Restaurant, which is on the second floor of the hotel.  The restaurant overlooks the Pacific Ocean and has one of the most amazing sunset views. The authentic Japanese food was so delicious.

Hau Tree Lanai

The weather was perfect.  We woke up to this beautiful sunrise, then had breakfast at the award winning Hau Tree Lanai restaurant, which is downstairs of the hotel and sits right on the beach.

The Art of Having It All – Christy Whitman

Disclosure: The book below was received free of charge for review purposes.

"Having it all simply means having access to all of yourself, in any moment you choose it, and in every aspect of life that is important to you.”

In her book, The Art of Having It All, bestselling author, Christy Whitman explains how women can get in touch with their inner self, figure out what "It" really is, and then find an unimaginable energy within and focus it in ways that make dreams come true.

It's not all about winning, or having lots of money, and or a fantastic career and wonderful family. Having it all is more about the feeling we carry with us in the privacy of our own hearts and minds.

Christy Whitman offers up a modern strategy for women who want to "have it all."  She lays out a path forward that shows people how to feel thankful, hopeful, and healthy all at the same time, all the time.

The ideas she shares can not only be used to chart a course to greater abundance and success, but to a deeper connection with yourself and an increased ability to enjoy all that you are and all that you have created and have yet to create.

Christy says "By allowing yourself to swell up with that gratitude, you open up doorways along your path.  Synchronicity comes into play and people show up in your life, that bring you to places that are truly unimaginable to you in the present moment."

Life really happens. Dreams really can come true.
This is an easy reading book and I really enjoyed it.  It was one of those books that I didn't want to put down.  I think you'll enjoy it!

Hammock & Palms Sunglasses

Disclosure: The sunglasses below was received free of charge for review purposes.

I really love these pair of lightweight, bamboo sunglasses I recently received from Hammock & Palms.  The great thing about it, besides its lovely bamboo look, is that it floats on water!  Also, all of the Hammock & Palms lenses are polarized and every pair comes with a bamboo case and soft bag to protect your sunglasses.

(Photo taken at Laie Point)
Hammock & Palms has a great collection of bamboo sunglasses for both men and women.  The “Island Drifters” collection (shown here) is made of 100% bamboo and are the ones that float on water.  With each piece of bamboo having its own naturally occurring patterns and grains, no two pairs are identical.  They are available in natural bamboo tones or various shades.

The “Sand and Sun” collection includes their two-toned bamboo sunglasses.  Only the arms of the sunglasses in this category are bamboo so they do not float on water but they come with vibrant frame color options, which will definitely add a lovely pop of color to any of your outfits!

Lake Tahoe

It was fun layering and dressing up in warm clothes, something we don't get to do in Hawaii.  The 25° weather is a bit too cold for me but I absolutely love Lake Tahoe and the snow!  Brrr...
